New Orleans clothing retailers say the are victims of gangs of clothes-hungry crossdresssers:
The tall, slim men wore brassy blonde wigs, stiletto heels and skintight tops.
They did not appear to be carrying any weapons.
He added: ‘They go for the brightest items ’ loud, fun, go-out clothing.
‘They use the fact that you don’t want to stare at them, and that gives them time to rip you off.’
