Remember Alina Percea? She is the Romanian girl who auctioned off her virginity online, eventually netting ten-thousand euros.
Of her tryst with the Italian who won the auction she says:
‘We kissed, then undressed each other,’ Alina says. ‘I’d never done that before, so I was nervous. He laid me on the bed and started kissing my body, then we had sex. I was attracted to him, so I enjoyed it, even though it was quite painful.
Hopefully she was as comfortable with the event as she claims.
Given current economic conditions I’m surprised we haven’t read of more young women doing likewise.Really, though I think the monetary value of someone’s virginity is much overrated. But the value I suppose in the eye of the purchaser.

Ah, the power of the free market. Establishing prices for things you don’t necessarily need a price for since… forever, really.
