More Money = More Sex

At least in Ireland according to The Sociological Quarterly. Probably here in the US as well. Though you, like me, can surely think of many exceptions.
Every €2,500 extra an Irish person earns in annual salary translates into one extra sexual partner over their lifetime. Earning about €35,000 a year more is the difference between having sex “once or twice” in the previous year compared to “about once a month”.
“Both high-income Irish men and women report more heterosexual sex partners since the age of 18 than low-income Irish men and women,” said Thomas Volscho, of the department of sociology, University of Connecticut. “The frequency of sex in the previous year was higher among both high-income Irish men and women than those on lower incomes.”
