Reportedly the standard once used by British censors for deciding whether or not a penis was too visible:
The board wouldn’t okay a movie or video for general release if it depicted a phallus erect to the point that the angle it made from the vertical was greater than that of the Mull of Kintyre, Argyll and Bute, on maps of Scotland.
