Playboy is doing one of its standard photo shoots - Girls of the Top 10 Party Schools - at UC Santa Barbara. So commonplace on American college campuses you’d think no one would complain any more. But:

“It demeans the scholastic standards of this school when a corporation that’s engaged in pornographic activity comes into an environment that’s supposed to promote mental activity,” said Megan Soto, 21, who was sitting with a friend at a table on campus promoting a “sexual assault-free weekend” on behalf of a group called Students Stopping Rape.

Pornography? One of these midly teasing things? Mental activity? Hardly the primary activity at even elite universities.
