Bikini Clad Lap Dancers

Something that some citizens of Nashville find quite horrifying:
For example, the paper found businesses operating beyond the required 3 a.m. closing time by calling themselves after-hours clubs and having dancers wear bikinis. It also found clubs where bikini-clad women performed lap dances on customers, even though the ordinance prohibits customers from having physical contact with performers.
Some council members are incensed, claiming that the clubs are knowingly bypassing the law. Others think that the entire law is so much hooey and that the city shouldn’t attempt to regulate adult businesses.
There is little doubt that some of the supporters of the adult business law would like to use it to drive adult businesses out of Nashville. But adult businesses have a constitutional right to exist.
