The Stars of the Line take their name from Guatemala City’s red-light district.
A women’s football team has been thrown out of an event in Central America after organisers found they were all prostitutes.
The Stars of the Line were playing in a tournament in Guatemala and were put out after losing 5-2 to the Blue Devils.
Team captain Valeria said: “Just for being prostitutes, society marginalises us, and we want to exercise our rights as women and as mothers.”
