Kristin Davis is going ro run for Governor of New York on the Anti-Prohibition Party ticket. Davis is perhaps seeking to extend the short-lived fame she gained when Eliot Spitzer’s political career was pretty much destroyed when it was revealed that Davis had been supplying him with sex workers. We are a fame-crazed society.
Davis managed to garner the twenty-two thousand signatures necessary to get on the New York State ballot.
Davis writes on her website. “I want to end the prohibition on marijuana, gay marriage and casino gambling to generate new revenues instead of raising taxes on already over-taxed New Yorkers.”
She’ll at least add color to the 2010 gubernatorial campaign. Reminds you of California and Mary Carey.
