Is Foreskin UnAmerican?

Dr. Edgar Schoen offers a silly, slightly xenophobic defence of circumcision.
“It’s the American way,” he says. “Eighty percent of men in America are circumcised, and parents want their sons to look like their fathers.” He says that most of the men and boys who aren’t circumcised are immigrants, children of immigrants, or from poor families who are not insured for the procedure.
Case made for the benefits of circumcision

I was circumcised when I was 22, after I was married. I had always wanted this done. One of the best decisions I ever made. I’ve had sex both ways and it’s much better circucised. I can go much longer and have much better control. It’s also much cleaner. These screwballs who argue against it don’t know what they are talking about. And, yes, it is the “American way” and there’s nothing wrong with that!
