British nudists get serious

Mr. Andrew Welch has been hired to put British nudism in the black as part of an effort at a major expansion of undressed Britons.
British Naturism, formed in 1964 as the Central Council for British Naturism, has a handful of administrative staff. The commercial management position, though is the first time that the society has ventured into such a "strategic" appointment. "This," says Mr Welch, 39, "is a dramatic step to say to people we are serious and sensible, that we are not going to take all this sniggering any more. Laugh if you wish, but listen to what we have to say."
