Is the almighty search engine gaming the inexhaustibly popular search for web porn?
Search engine algorithms aren’t something I’m competent to judge. QuadsZilla says:
If you Google for porn today, you may not find it.
That’s because this past weekend saw a huge shake up in the online porn world. A change in the Google algorithm caused almost all TGPs to fall out of the top results for single-word porn search phrases.
The estimable Michael Gray may be marketing a hoax but it makes for entertaining reading:
… Would they be willing to bury some internet porn to satisfy Republican interests and grease the wheels of progress and get their free wi-fi data mining mission underway? I can’t say for sure but it does look more than a little fishy to me.
