(PRWEB) August 21, 2004 -- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) single dog lovers and their pooches will be coming “out” like never before on Wednesday, August 25th in Manhattan at a Leashes and Lovers singles event at the LGBT Community Center. This event is “mingling with a mission” as proceeds will benefit NYSAVE, the NYC-based pet charity providing grants for emergency medical care for pets of low-income New Yorkers.

“This is our first singles mixer for the LGBT community and we are very excited. It is so nice to be able to come to one of our mixers with your dog. It is a warm and friendly environment -- everyone in the room has something in common which allows for such fun conversations and interactions,” says Leashes and Lovers co-founder Sheryl Matthys.
