“You can always tell when a genre becomes a big player in the publishing game because it begins to fragment into its own sub-genres,” said Adrienne Benedicks, founder of Erotica Readers and Writers Association. “There are GLBT varieties (gay, lesbian, bi, transsexual), BDSM, fetish and kink, as well as good old heterosexual erotica.”
