A Russian mom and daughter who appeared on Date My Mother are suing MTV for mistranslating mom’s words.
In that episode, Stemer told potential suitor Jorgen Sampson in Russian, “My daughter has a very big heart,” the lawsuit says. But MTV’s English subtitles translated the comment as a boast about the daughter’s sexual desirability.
