Police say that Bowers allegedly took her daughter to meet Ackerman at a hotel in Pottstown, Pa. Investigators said that Ackerman tried to get the child to touch him inappropriately and Bowers allegedly did nothing to stop him because she believed it was the only way to get Ackerman to go out with her.
