Salmani confessed to committing the murder. In his statement to the police he said that on Saturday night, Nazil had asked for a haircut, which he agreed to. Then Nazil wanted his underarm shaved, which was done, but when Nazil asked him to shave his pubic hair, Salmani said it upset him.
They had a heated argument and in a fit of anger, Nazil slapped Salmani, said the police. A few minutes later Salmani agreed to shave the pubic hair, but instead, slit Nazil’s penis with the razor. He then strangulated him before fleeing from the spot.
