India may be groovy and full of Karma Cola but it seems to be sheer Hell for women.
Women’s groups are outraged over a city court accepting an application by a rape convict offering to marry the girl he had sexually assaulted, two years ago. The application was moved on Tuesday when the court was to announce the sentence. …
The incident had taken place in Shanti Mukund Hospital in East Delhi and the girl had sustained grievous injuries on her eyes and throat in the assault. Ms. Karat said that the application should not have been entertained in the first place.

umm thats messed up you shouldnt have to marry the ass that raped you .. they should be punished thas takin away someones pride and there dignity also it makes people have trust issues and makes it hard for them to connect to other people
