A young man who really likes his girlfriend has an extreme case of podophilia:
Our sex life is all right, but I have a major foot fetish and don’t orgasm at all through “normal” sexual intercourse. My girlfriend thinks this a problem and will only occasionally give me “foot jobs” if I really want to get off.
A fetish is bad only when it causes unhappiness.
It would be foolish for this guy to try to give up his foot addiction. It would only cause frustration. Frustration that would grow more intense as he continued to force himself to remain unsatisfied.
But he might be able to expand his sexuality to also enjoy traditional sex. That would make it more likely he can find and keep a romantic partner.
